In Friday's league challenge, the visiting University Wildcats volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Palisades Dolphins.

The Wildcats (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Hamilton (Los Angeles, CA). The Yankees come into the Western challenge with a 6-15 record. In their last challenge, Hamilton nudged Westchester (Los Angeles, CA), 3-2, in a league test.

The Dolphins now sport a 29-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fairfax for a Western test on Monday, October 6. Palisades will face a Lions squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Venice (Los Angeles, CA). The Lions record now stands at 2-15.
