The Union Grove Lions (Gladewater, TX) volleyball knocked off the visiting Pewitt Brahmas (Omaha, TX), 3-0 in Friday's league bout.

The Lions now possess a 11-13 record. They play next when they travel to Ore City for a 2A Region III District 18 match on Tuesday, October 7. Union Grove will battle a Rebels squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Big Sandy (Big Sandy, TX). The Rebels record now stands at 4-19.

The Brahmas (14-13) will now prepare for their match against Linden-Kildare (Linden, TX). The Tigers enter the 2A Region III District 18 match with a 9-3 record.
