In Friday's league challenge, the visiting Plains Cowboys volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Ropes Eagles.
The Cowboys (20-8) will now prepare for their test against Abernathy (Abernathy, TX). The Antelopes go into the 2A Region I District 2 test with a 7-11 record. In their last test, Abernathy gained a win over Tahoka (Tahoka, TX), 3-2, in a league test.
The Eagles now sport a 25-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Olton for a 2A Region I District 2 test on Tuesday, October 7. Ropes will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Post (Post, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-16.
