Texas High School Volleyball - Whitesboro overwhelmed by Ponder

The Ponder Lions were victorious over the visiting Whitesboro Bearcats volleyball team by a margin of 3-0 in Friday's league outing.

The Lions now possess a 21-10 record. They play next when they travel to Boyd for a 3A Region II District 10 outing on Tuesday, October 7. Ponder will play a Yellowjackets team coming off a 3-0 league win over Pilot Point (Pilot Point, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 24-9.

The Bearcats (23-13) will now prepare for their game against Pilot Point (Pilot Point, TX). The Bearcats come into the 3A Region II District 10 bout with a 7-24 record. In their last bout, Pilot Point defeated Valley View (Valley View, TX), 3-2, in a league bout.
