With the win, San Marcos improves its record to 14-7 on the season. The Knights travel to San Dieguito Academy (Encinitas, CA) to meet the Mustangs in a Coastal (NCC) contest on Wednesday, October 8. The Mustangs enter the contest with a record of 7-15. San Dieguito Academy lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA)

Next, the Broncos meet the Carlsbad Lancers (Carlsbad, CA) in a Coastal (NCC) contest, on Tuesday, October 7. Rancho Bernardo will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Lancers enter the contest with a 16-7 record after their 3-1 league loss to Westview (San Diego, CA).
