The Randolph-Macon Academy Yellow Jackets knocked off the visiting Wakefield School Fighting Owls volleyball team by a margin of 3-0 in Friday's league bout.

The Yellow Jackets now possess a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Quantico for a VISAA Division 3 bout on Thursday, October 9. Randolph-Macon Academy will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 league win over Wakefield Country Day (Flint Hill, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, Wakefield School drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Fighting owls host Highland (Warrenton, VA) to clash with the Hawks in a Greater Piedmont bout on Monday, October 6. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 4-5. Highland lost 3-1 in their recent non-league match against Trinity Christian (Fairfax, VA)
