Fans at Friday's league contest between the Saint Gertrude Gators (Richmond, VA) and the host Trinity Episcopal Titans (Richmond, VA), observed Saint Gertrude's volleyball team top Trinity Episcopal by a count of 3-0.

The Gators (11-7) will now prepare for their contest against St. Anne's-Belfield (Charlottesville, VA). The Saints enter the VISAA Division 1 contest with a 1-9 record. In their last contest, St. Anne's-Belfield dropped by North Cross (Roanoke, VA), 3-2, in a non-league battle.

The Titans now own a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they host Collegiate for a VISAA Division 1 contest on Tuesday, October 7. Trinity Episcopal will meet a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 league win over Christchurch School (Christchurch, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 11-6.
