Massachusetts High School Volleyball - Westport over Wareham

Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Westport Wildcats (Westport, MA) and the host Wareham Vikings (Wareham, MA), observed Westport's volleyball team top Wareham by a count of 3-1.

The Wildcats (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Diman RVT (Fall River, MA). The Bengals enter the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Diman RVT was knocked off by Tri-County RVT (Franklin, MA), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Vikings meet the Avon Panthers (Avon, MA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, October 8. Wareham will attempt to improve on its 9-4 season record. The Panthers go into the battle with a 9-2 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Seekonk (Seekonk, MA).
