The South Fayette Lions held off the visiting Montour Spartans soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Monday's non-league match.

The Lions now sport a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hampton for a non-league match on Saturday, November 4. South Fayette will encounter a Talbots squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA). The Talbots record now stands at 18-2.

With the loss, Montour drops to 15-4 on the season.
