The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Dowling Catholic Maroons (West Des Moines, IA) and the host Valley Tigers (West Des Moines, IA), saw Dowling Catholic's volleyball squad beat Valley by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Dowling Catholic upgrades its record to 25-5 on the year. The Maroons travel to Pleasant Valley (Pleasant Valley, IA) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Wednesday, November 1. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 31-5. Pleasant Valley won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Johnston (Johnston, IA)

The Tigers now own a 14-11 record.
