With the win, Monterey improves its record to 8-10 on the season. The Dores host Palma (Salinas, CA) to play the Chieftains in a non-league battle on Friday, November 1. The Chieftains go into the battle with a record of 4-3. Palma lost 40-27 in their recent non-league battle against King City (King City, CA)
