Grants Pirates (Grants, NM) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM), 2-0 in a league test.

With the win, Grants improves its record to 12-7 on the season. The Pirates travel to Belen (Belen, NM) to encounter the Eagles in a test on Tuesday, November 5. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 4-7.

The Hornets now own a 0-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valencia for a non-league test on Wednesday, November 6. Highland will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 13-4.
