In Wednesday's non-league test, the Cherokee Bluff Bears (Flowery Branch, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA), by a tally of 9-3.
Next, the Bears clash with the Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes (Monroe, GA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, October 31. Cherokee Bluff will attempt to advance on its 26-6 season record. The Purple Hurricanes go into the test with a 24-9 record after their 12-0 non-league win over East Hall (Gainesville, GA).
The Dragons (26-8) will now prepare for their test against Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA). The Yellow Jackets go into the non-league test with a 28-3 record. In their last test, Southeast Bulloch held off Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA), 7-0, in a non-league test.
