In Wednesday's non-league test, the Union County Panthers (Blairsville, GA) softball squad got by the visiting Sonoraville Phoenix (Calhoun, GA), by a count of 2-1.
Next, the Panthers meet the Morgan County Bulldogs (Madison, GA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, October 31. Union County will attempt to upgrade on its 17-17 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 25-5 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Rockmart (Rockmart, GA).
