The Volcano Vista Hawks volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Farmington Scorpions to 0 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Hawks now possess a 12-4 record. They play next when they travel to Cleveland for a non-league outing on Tuesday, November 4. Volcano Vista will clash with a Storm team coming off a 2-0 league win over Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM). The Storm record now stands at 9-1.
The Scorpions (7-10) will now prepare for their match against Cibola (Albuquerque, NM). The Cougars enter the non-league match with a 7-6 record. In their last match, Cibola was dropped by Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM), 2-0, in a league match.
