In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Chippewa Valley Big Reds volleyball squad scored a tight 1-0 win over the Lakeview Huskies.
Next up, the Big Reds face the Fraser Ramblers (Fraser, MI) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, November 5. Chippewa Valley will attempt to advance on its 21-12 season record. The Ramblers go into the game with a 21-18 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Sterling Heights (Sterling Heights, MI).
The Huskies (13-21) will now prepare for their game against Cousino (Warren, MI). The Patriots come into the non-league outing with a 13-19 record. In their last outing, Cousino edged Mott (Warren, MI), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
