In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Engadine Eagles volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Mid Peninsula Wolverines.

The Eagles (2-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Pickford (Pickford, MI). The Panthers come into the Eastern Upper Peninsula challenge with a 3-20 record. In their last challenge, Pickford was nudged by Rudyard (Rudyard, MI), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wolverines play the Mackinaw City Comets (Mackinaw City, MI) in a Freelance challenge, on Saturday, November 1. Mid Peninsula will attempt to upgrade on its 2-17 season record. The Comets come into the challenge with a 13-16 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Rudyard (Rudyard, MI).
