Northwood Panthers (Saltville, VA) backers left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting J.I. Burton Black Raiders (Norton, VA), 3-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Panthers battle the Grundy Golden Wave (Grundy, VA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, November 2. Northwood will attempt to better on its 23-4 season record. The Golden Wave come into the match with a 14-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Thomas Walker (Ewing, VA).
With the loss, J.I. Burton drops to 10-7 on the campaign.
