Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM), observed Sandia's volleyball team top Manzano by a count of 2-0.
The Matadors (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 10-3 record.
Next, the Monarchs meet the Capital Jaguars (Santa Fe, NM) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, November 5. Manzano will attempt to move on its 4-11 season record. The Jaguars enter the contest with a 3-15 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM).
