Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Roswell Coyotes (Roswell, NM) and the visiting Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls (Carlsbad, NM), observed Roswell's volleyball team top Carlsbad by a count of 3-0.
The Coyotes (21-1) will now prepare for their contest against Clovis (Clovis, NM). The Wildcats enter the 5A District 4 contest with a 10-11 record. In their last contest, Clovis was knocked off by Hobbs (Hobbs, NM), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Cavemen/Cavegirls meet the Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM) in a 5A District 4 contest, on Thursday, November 7. Carlsbad will attempt to move on its 7-14 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 11-10 record after their 3-0 league win over Clovis (Clovis, NM).
