Minnesota High School Football - Elk River sneaks past Monticello

October 31, 2025: Monticello, MN 55362

The Elk River Elks football squad scored 27 points and limited the host Monticello Magic to 23 in the Elks non-league triumph on Friday.

The Elks now sport a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Alexandria for a non-league test on Thursday, November 6. Elk River will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 49-21 non-league win over Bemidji (Bemidji, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 9-1.

With the defeat, Monticello drops to 8-2 on the campaign.
