Next, the Dark Horses confront the Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 8. Clinton will attempt to better on its 11-2 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 2-1 league win over Laney (Wilmington, NC).

The Eagles now have a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Bladen for a Southeastern Athletic 2A challenge on Wednesday, October 6. East Bladen will confront a Knights team coming off a 4-1 league loss to Clinton (Clinton, NC). The Knights record now stands at 5-4.
