The Alexandria Valley Cubs topped the host Donoho Falcons volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Monday's non-league test.

The Valley Cubs now have a 18-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Clair County for a 5A Area 11 test on Tuesday, October 5. Alexandria will confront a Fighting Saints team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Ashville (Ashville, AL). The Fighting Saints record now stands at 9-8.

The Falcons (36-7) will now prepare for their contest against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, AL). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 15-10 record. In their last contest, Jacksonville beat St. Clair County (Odenville, AL), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
