The El Cerrito Gauchos volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting De Anza Dons to 0 in the Gauchos league victory on Monday.

The Gauchos now possess a 19-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richmond for a Tri-County game on Wednesday, October 6. El Cerrito will meet a Oilers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to De Anza (El Sobrante, CA). The Oilers record now stands at 4-11.

The Dons (6-8) will now prepare for their game against Kennedy (Richmond, CA). The Eagles enter the Tri-County game with a 0-9 record. In their last game, Kennedy was dropped by Hercules (Hercules, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
