The Hiwassee Dam Eagles prevailed the visiting Nantahala Hawks volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Monday's league test.

The Eagles now have a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fannin County for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 5. Hiwassee Dam will confront a Rebels team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Gilmer (Ellijay, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 10-23.

The Hawks (0-5) will now prepare for their test against Hiwassee Dam (Murphy, NC). The Eagles enter the Little Smoky Mountain 1A test with a 5-14 record. In their last test, Hiwassee Dam dropped by Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA), 3-2, in a non-league test.
