South Carolina High School Volleyball - May River can't hold off James Island

In Tuesday's league battle, the host James Island Trojans volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the May River Sharks .
The Trojans (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC). The Landsharks come into the non-league battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Oceanside Collegiate Academy nudged Wando (Mt. Pleasant, SC), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Sharks clash with the Hilton Head Island Seahawks (Hilton Head Island, SC) in a battle, on Thursday, October 6. May River will attempt to advance on its 0-7 season record. The Seahawks come into the battle with a 3-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Bluffton (Bluffton, SC).
