The Valencia Jaguars volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Grants Pirates to 0 in the Jaguars league victory on Tuesday.
The Jaguars now possess a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highland for a non-league game on Thursday, October 6. Valencia will meet a Hornets team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM). The Hornets record now stands at 0-6.
The Pirates (7-4) will now prepare for their game against St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM). The Sartans enter the non-league game with a 6-4 record. In their last game, St. Pius X defeated Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM), 2-0, in a non-league game.
