The La Cueva Bears volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting West Mesa Mustangs to 0 in the Bears non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bears now have a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Piedra Vista for a non-league game on Friday, October 7. La Cueva will meet a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 3-1.
The Mustangs (5-5) will now prepare for their game against Farmington (Farmington, NM). The Scorpions enter the non-league game with a 10-11 record. In their last game, Farmington gained a win over Sandia (Albuquerque, NM), 2-1, in a non-league game.
