Traip Rangers (Kittery, ME) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Sacopee Valley Hawks (Cornish, ME), 1-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Rangers confront the St. Dominic Saints (Lewiston, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 7. Traip will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record. The Saints enter the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Waynflete (Portland, ME).
The Hawks now have a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Old Orchard Beach for a Class C - South challenge on Friday, October 7. Sacopee Valley will battle a Seagulls team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME). The Seagulls record now stands at 6-4.
