The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) and the host West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM), saw Sandia's soccer squad triumph over West Mesa by a margin of 10-0.

The Matadors now sport a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Farmington for a 5A District 2 test on Saturday, October 8. Sandia will meet a Scorpions squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM). The Scorpions record now stands at 7-5.

With the loss, West Mesa drops to 5-8 on the season. The Mustangs travel to La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM) to meet the Bears in a 5A District 2 test on Thursday, October 6. The Bears come into the test with a record of 11-4. La Cueva lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM)
