The Central Davidson Spartans volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Asheboro Blue Comets to 0 in the Spartans non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Spartans now have a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Trinity for a non-league game on Wednesday, October 5. Central Davidson will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-7.
The Blue Comets (2-14) will now prepare for their game against North Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Black Knights enter the non-league game with a 14-5 record. In their last game, North Davidson dropped by Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
