The Pinecrest Patriots volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Lee County Yellow Jackets to 0 in the Patriots non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Patriots now have a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Scotland for a non-league game on Thursday, October 6. Pinecrest will meet a Fighting Scots team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Union Pines (Cameron, NC). The Fighting Scots record now stands at 2-7.

The Yellow Jackets (3-9) will now prepare for their game against Scotland (Laurinburg, NC). The Fighting Scots enter the non-league game with a 2-8 record. In their last game, Scotland dropped by Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
