The Lunenburg Central Chargers topped the visiting Randolph-Henry Statesmen volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Chargers now have a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nottoway for a non-league test on Thursday, October 6. Lunenburg Central will confront a Cougars team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Cumberland (Cumberland, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 8-3.
The Statesmen (4-7) will now prepare for their test against Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA). The Raiders enter the non-league test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, Amelia County gained a win over Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
