North Carolina High School Volleyball - Mountain Heritage tips Owen

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Mountain Heritage Cougars (Burnsville, NC) and the host Owen Warhorses (Black Mountain, NC), saw Mountain Heritage's volleyball squad nip Owen by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Mountain Heritage upgrades its record to 8-7 on the year. The Cougars host Avery County (Newland, NC) to play the Vikings in a bout on Thursday, October 6. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 12-1.

The Warhorses now own a 6-10 record. They play next when they travel to Rosman for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 6.
