The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) and the host Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA), saw Western Albemarle's volleyball squad nip Orange County by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Western Albemarle upgrades its record to 7-1 on the year. The Warriors host Goochland (Goochland, VA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 6. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Goochland lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Louisa County (Mineral, VA)

The Fighting Hornets now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Madison County for a non-league bout on Monday, October 17.
