In Tuesday's league battle, the host Union Pines Vikings volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Richmond Raiders.
The Vikings (10-8) will now prepare for their battle against Hoke County (Raeford, NC). The Bucks come into the battle with a 15-3 record. In their last battle, Hoke County achieved victory over Southern Lee (Sanford, NC), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Raiders clash with the Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 13. Richmond will attempt to advance on its 5-7 season record.
