The Crusaders now hold a 19-1 record. They play next when they travel to Gibault Catholic for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 5. Althoff Catholic will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Father McGivney Catholic (Glen Carbon, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 5-9.

With the loss, Mt. Vernon drops to 1-13 on the season. The Rams travel to Centralia (Centralia, IL) to meet the Orphans in a South Seven test on Thursday, October 6.
