Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Shea Raiders (Pawtucket, RI), 4-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Thunderbolts confront the Smithfield Sentinels (Esmond, RI) in a Division 2 challenge, on Thursday, October 6. Cranston East will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Sentinels enter the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 5-0 league loss to North Smithfield (North Smithfield, RI).
The Raiders now have a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Greenwich for a Division 2 challenge on Friday, October 7. Shea will confront a Avengers team coming off a 2-0 league win over Pilgrim (Warwick, RI). The Avengers record now stands at 3-3.
