Mount Desert Island Trojans (Mount Desert, ME) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Presque Isle Wildcats (Presque Isle, ME), 6-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Trojans confront the John Bapst Memorial Crusaders (Bangor, ME) in a Class B - North challenge, on Saturday, October 8. Mount Desert Island will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record. The Crusaders enter the challenge with a 9-0 record after their 7-0 league win over Caribou (Caribou, ME).

The Wildcats now possess a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Old Town for a Class B - North challenge on Saturday, October 8. Presque Isle will confront a Coyotes team coming off a 5-1 league loss to Ellsworth (Ellsworth, ME). The Coyotes record now stands at 4-5.
