Next, the Chiefs confront the Shepaug Valley Spartans (Washington, CT) in a Berkshire challenge, on Saturday, October 8. Nonnewaug will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 2-0 league loss to Litchfield (Litchfield, CT).

The Bears now have a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Terryville for a Berkshire challenge on Friday, October 7. Thomaston will confront a Kangaroos team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Housatonic-Wamogo (Falls Village, CT). The Kangaroos record now stands at 7-3.
