Thornton Wildcats (Harvey, IL) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Rich Township Raptors (Olympia Fields, IL), 7-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats confront the Crete-Monee Warriors (Crete, IL) in a SICA challenge, on Thursday, October 6. Thornton will attempt to better on its 12-5 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Grant Park (Grant Park, IL).

The Raptors now have a 3-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bloom for a SICA challenge on Wednesday, October 5. Rich Township will confront a Blazing Trojan team coming off a 3-2 league win over Kankakee (Kankakee, IL). The Blazing Trojan record now stands at 15-4.
