In Tuesday's league battle, the host Timberlake Tigers soccer squad scored a close 6-1 win over the St. Maries Lumberjacks.
The Tigers (11-2) will now prepare for their battle against Grangeville (Grangeville, ID). The Bulldogs come into the 3A District I test with a 0-9 record. In their last test, Grangeville was overwhelmed by Orofino (Orofino, ID), 6-3, in a league test.
With the loss, St. Maries drops to 3-8 on the season. The Lumberjacks travel to Orofino (Orofino, ID) to meet the Maniacs in a 3A District I test on Thursday, October 6. The Maniacs come into the test with a record of 5-4. Orofino won 6-3 in their recent league test against Grangeville (Grangeville, ID)
