The Effingham County Rebels softball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Glynn Academy Terrors to 2 in the Rebels league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Effingham County moves its record to 22-3 on the year. The Rebels travel to South Effingham (Guyton, GA) to clash with the Mustangs in a 6A Region 2 game on Thursday, October 6. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 20-4. South Effingham won 10-0 in their recent league game against Lakeside (Evans, GA)

In their next game, the Terrors clash with the Richmond Hill Wildcats (Richmond Hill, GA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, October 5. Glynn Academy will attempt to move on its 11-14 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 8-11 record after their 19-0 league loss to Colquitt County (Norman Park, GA).
