The Griffin Bears softball team scored 21 runs and limited the visiting Westside Seminoles to 0 in the Bears league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Griffin moves its record to 5-8 on the year. The Bears host Howard (Macon, GA) to play the Huskies in a 4A Region 2 game on Thursday, October 6. The Huskies come into the game with a record of 9-9. Howard won 10-9 in their recent league game against Spalding (Griffin, GA)

In their next game, the Seminoles play the Spalding Jaguars (Griffin, GA) in a 4A Region 2 game, on Wednesday, October 5. Westside will attempt to move on its 0-14 season record. The Jaguars come into the game with a 5-12 record after their 10-9 league loss to Howard (Macon, GA).
