North Paulding Wolfpack (Dallas, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Hillgrove Hawks (Powder Springs, GA), 6-2 in a league challenge.

The Wolfpack now own a 19-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harrison for a 7A Region 3 challenge on Thursday, October 6. North Paulding will battle a Hoyas squad coming off a 5-3 league loss to McEachern (Powder Springs, GA). The Hoyas record now stands at 8-13.

With the loss, Hillgrove falls to 6-13 on the campaign. The Hawks host South Paulding (Douglasville, GA) to battle the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 5. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 16-7. South Paulding won 12-0 in their recent league challenge against New Manchester (Douglasville, GA)
