Georgia High School Softball - Mitchell County bounces Quitman County

The Mitchell County Eagles the visiting Quitman County Hornets softball squad by a final score of 23-19 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Eagles (2-10) will now prepare for their battle against Early County (Blakely, GA). The Bobcats go into the 1A D-II Region 1 battle with a 12-6 record. In their last battle, Early County nudged Calhoun County (Edison, GA), 23-7, in a league battle.

The Hornets now possess a 0-15 record. They play next when they travel to Seminole County for a 1A D-II Region 1 battle on Friday, October 7. Quitman County will meet a Indians squad coming off a 12-6 league win over Miller County (Colquitt, GA). The Indians record now stands at 14-7.
