The Pueblo West Cyclones softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Pueblo Central Wildcats to 3 in the Cyclones league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Pueblo West moves its record to 14-7 on the year. The Cyclones host Pueblo East (Pueblo, CO) to play the Eagles in a 4A South Central game on Thursday, October 6. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 14-7. Pueblo East won 11-2 in their recent league test against Pueblo Centennial (Pueblo, CO)

The Wildcats (7-15) will now prepare for their test against Pueblo South (Pueblo, CO). The Colts come into the 4A South Central test with a 13-8 record. In their last test, Pueblo South edged Pueblo County (Pueblo, CO), 7-4, in a league test.
