Virginia High School Volleyball - Albemarle edged by Fluvanna County

The Fluvanna County Flying Flucos held off the visiting Albemarle Patriots volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league test.

The Flying Flucos now have a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Louisa County for a Jefferson test on Thursday, October 6. Fluvanna County will confront a Lions team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Goochland (Goochland, VA). The Lions record now stands at 4-8.

The Patriots (7-7) will now prepare for their test against Monticello (Charlottesville, VA). The Mustangs enter the Jefferson test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Monticello held off Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA), 3-1, in a league test.
