The Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology Griffins volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Magnolia Science Academy Van Nuys Mustang to 1 in the Griffins league victory on Tuesday.

The Griffins now possess a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sun Valley Magnet for a Central Valley game on Friday, October 7. Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology will meet a Pioneers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Discovery (Sylmar, CA). The Pioneers record now stands at 9-3.

The Mustang (7-2) will now prepare for their game against Valor Academy (Van Nuys, CA). The enter the Central Valley game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, Valor Academy defeated Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology (Sun Valley, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
