The Burwell Longhorns topped the host Anselmo-Merna Coyotes volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Longhorns now have a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverside for a non-league test on Thursday, October 6. Burwell will confront a Chargers team coming off a 2-0 league win over St. Edward (St. Edward, NE). The Chargers record now stands at 12-5.

The Coyotes (11-7) will now prepare for their test against Central Valley (Greeley, NE). The Cougars enter the non-league test with a 9-9 record. In their last test, Central Valley gained a win over Palmer (Palmer, NE), 2-0, in a non-league test.
